Bring the Restorative Power of Therapeutic Sound to Your Retreat

Hawthorn Healing is based in Lakeshore, Ontario and is available for select retreat sound healing bookings throughout Southwestern Ontario.

As a Certified Sound Practitioner through the internationally recognized Sound Healing Academy in the UK and a Reiki Master, I offer thoughtfully curated sound healing experiences designed to complement intentional retreats and wellness gatherings.

Each session is created as part of your wider retreat experience and is tailored to the theme, intention, and energy of your gathering.

Sound healing can be a beautiful addition to a wellness retreat, women’s retreat, yoga retreat, healing weekend, spiritual gathering, seasonal retreat, or personal growth experience.

Your session may be offered as:

• an opening grounding experience

• an evening sound bath

• an integration session

• a full moon or seasonal gathering

• a closing restorative practice

Each experience is thoughtfully created to support deep rest, grounding, emotional release, inner reflection, and nervous system settling through live therapeutic sound, guided meditation, Reiki-infused sound, and intentional stillness.

The Sound Healing Experience

Your retreat sound healing experience is centered around my collection of 17 crystal singing bowls, creating a deeply immersive soundscape for rest, reflection, grounding, and renewal.

Additional therapeutic sound instruments are woven in intuitively according to the theme, intention, and energy of your retreat. These may include Tibetan singing bowls, gong, monochord, tuning forks, chimes, frame drum, tuned healing pipes, guided meditation, Reiki-infused sound, and intentional silence.

Trauma-Informed Sound Healing

In addition to my sound healing training, I have completed specialized training in trauma-informed practice. This shapes the way I facilitate each session—with care, choice, sensitivity, and respect for the individual nervous system. Invitations are offered gently, and each person is encouraged to honour their own comfort, boundaries, and needs throughout the experience.

Trauma-informed sound healing is not psychotherapy or a substitute for medical or mental health care. Rather, it creates a supportive environment where participants may rest, reconnect with the body, and experience sound at their own pace.

Sessions may be thoughtfully adapted for grief support groups, caregiver groups, bereavement gatherings, trauma-recovery communities, women’s circles, and other sensitive or emotionally focused group settings. When working with grief or vulnerable populations, the experience is approached with additional gentleness, grounding, spaciousness, and respect for whatever may arise.

Travel and Availability

Hawthorn Healing is available for select retreat bookings throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Please note that I am not currently available for general local private-event travel. On-location bookings are reserved for retreat-style experiences in which sound healing forms part of a larger intentional gathering.

Investment

Retreat sound healing sessions begin at $750 + HST for one 60-minute experience for up to 15 guests. Travel within a 50 km radius of Staples, Ontario is included.

Your investment includes the complete retreat experience, not only the 60-minute session itself:

• advance consultation and session planning

• preparation of a customized, intuitively curated sound journey

• transportation of professional instruments and equipment

• approximately 90 minutes of on-site setup and sound preparation

• intentional preparation of the room to create a calm, supportive, and energetically grounded environment

• facilitation of the full sound healing experience

• post-session integration time

• approximately 60 minutes for instrument packing and teardown

Pricing for larger groups, locations beyond 50 km, multiple sessions, extended session lengths, venue access requirements, and requested enhancements will be customized accordingly.

A personalized proposal will be provided for larger retreats and events.
