My name is Shannon Rivest, and I am a Certified Sound Practitioner, Reiki Master, and trauma-informed healing facilitator. Accredited through the Sound Healing Academy, I completed an extensive training program, including case studies, to receive my diploma. My background also includes certification in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I am currently completing my certification as a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner to further integrate vibrational healing into my practice.
With a foundation in biology, anatomy, and physiology, I bring both a scientific and intuitive approach to healing. Before stepping into this work, I spent five years as a Registered Veterinary Technician, followed by 15 years working in Health Records Medical Coding at my local hospital. My deep understanding of the human body, combined with energy medicine, allows me to bridge the physical and energetic realms—helping others restore balance, release stored emotions, and align their energy for profound healing.

My Journey into Healing

Despite years of working in healthcare, I found myself facing an inner conflict that I couldn't ignore. Outwardly, I had built a stable life, but beneath the surface, I felt deeply unfulfilled. The demands of my career, coupled with a growing sense of emotional disconnection, left me questioning everything. I withdrew from loved ones, abruptly left my job in the medical field—something entirely uncharacteristic of me—and felt a restless need for change. But why? The question consumed me.
The shift began during what astrologers call the Uranus Opposition—a period of awakening that often brings profound inner upheaval. At the onset of the Covid pandemic, this inner turmoil intensified. Encouraged by my husband, I reluctantly started couples therapy, initially convinced that my struggles were external. At the same time, I explored hypnotherapy, and what I discovered shook me to my core.
Through this deep inner work, I came face-to-face with emotions I had buried for years—wounds from my inner child that had shaped my patterns of control, self-doubt, and emotional avoidance. I realized I had spent much of my adult life seeking external validation—using retail therapy for fleeting comfort, over-explaining myself to others, and, in my late 30s, turning to daily cannabis use to numb emotions rather than process them. I projected my pain outward, believing others were responsible for the emptiness I felt inside.
Accepting this truth was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But with that acceptance came transformation.

The Healing Path That Found Me

Encouraged by my psychologist, I immersed myself in inner child healing, shadow work, and self-exploration. I devoured books on trauma, psychology, and energy healing. I turned to natal astrology, sound healing, Reiki, Bach Flower remedies, herbalism, and transformative plant medicine journeys—not just as practices but as lifelines to rediscovering myself.
The more I learned, the more I realized that healing isn’t about erasing pain—it’s about understanding it, integrating it, and learning how to transmute it into wisdom. I began seeing patterns not just in myself but in those around me. I saw how unprocessed emotions store themselves in the body, how energy blockages manifest as physical symptoms, and how sound and vibration could facilitate profound releases.
Through this journey, I not only healed my own wounds but discovered my deeper purpose: to help others reconnect with themselves, their energy, and their ability to heal.

My Work Today: Holding Space for Your Healing

Today, I guide others through sound healing, Reiki, energy work, and vibrational therapies to help them release stored emotions, balance their chakras, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Healing is not linear—it’s an unfolding process of self-discovery and transformation. Whether you’re seeking relief from physical pain, emotional blockages, mental overwhelm, or a deeper sense of purpose, I provide a safe, compassionate space for you to explore, release, and realign.
Healing is a journey back to yourself. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
